My name is Julia. I originally developed this blog as a means to share my journey of living in Japan. After moving back to the U.S. in December of 2018, I decided to begin a new path dedicated to fitness and wellness. I earned my certification as a Personal Trainer in June of 2019. In September of 2019, I completed my coursework to become a nutrition specialist. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training in Chicago in 2020 and became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I obtained my latest certification as a Group Fitness Instructor in August of 2024. At this time, I’m working on earning my additional 300 hours of yoga teacher training to become a 500 hour RYT. Currently, I live in Freeport, FL and teach both Strength and Yoga classes in my Hammock Bay community. I will continue to share my travel adventures and simultaneously post updates of my fitness journey. Namaste
